Sustainability

At Waterside we believe that sustainability is both a corporate
and a personal responsibility, and that everyone doing a little
bit adds up to a lot. Whether it’s turning off the lights when
you leave the room or remembering to take your shopping
bags with you when you leave the house, we are keen to
support our residents in being environmentally responsible.
We have recycling facilities for batteries and lightbulbs on
site, we collect clothes for charity and receive a quarterly
update on the amount we have generated for the needy, and
of course we have all of the usual recycling facilities.

We’re also doing our best to help in the fight against climate change by encouraging our residents to use a bicycle as a means of transport over their car, and as such we offer plenty of secure bike storage for free as well as a repair station for you to make use of whenever it’s needed. As we are always looking for new ways to be sustainable we encourage feedback from our residents, via our resident surveys.
